JAI Stanley might be leaving us but he is leaving on good terms.
Jai has just been unfortunate with injuries. He's had two or three knee operations and just doesn't seem to have had any luck.
He made a big move to Worcester and I don't think City fans have seen the best of him.
Sometimes it just doesn't work out but there's no doubting his ability.
We just wish him all the best. Everything's amicable and there haven't been any problems between him and me.
We have always been in contact and talking but we just came to a point when we had to move on.
He's started games but not had as much influence as we would have liked but that's the way football goes sometimes.
Chris Cornes, the former Wolves midfielder, also has ability, we saw that on Saturday.
He's got good awareness and, even though he's carrying more weight than he would like to, he's still got a burst of pace.
We are probably not going to see the best of Chris for a month because he hasn't played a game for five months. We are going to help him as much as we can and put him in the shop window.
We are now without Mark Danks for three games. He's done well since he's been back but it's going to take a while for him to get back to his best. We don't expect that to happen until about December.
During his suspension, he will work on his sharpness ready for the next game that comes along.
Adam Webster is coming on slowly but surely week by week. When he does come back it will probably be a couple of months before he's back to his best.
If all that comes together by December and we still have Chris Cornes then things look promising.
My place in the team as a substitute has come in for some criticism of late.
I think I probably bring myself on too late. Andy Morrison says I should be on earlier. When I do come on the ball sticks up front and stays up front and there's some control with it.
If I need some sharpness and pace I would bring Troy Wood on but if I think it needs someone to hold the ball up I bring myself on.
You can't worry about the crowd.
We probably created four or five opportunities when I came on against Hemel Hempstead. They seemed to all come in the last 10 minutes when I was on the field.
The fans are entitled to their opinion but I have been around long enough to know what's right for the team.
That's why we love football, because we all have opinions on how it should be played.
