FOLLOWING on from its success last year, Modus Creative is once again launching the 2011 Nine at Night — glow in the dark night-time golf — a business networking initiative with a difference.
For five months from November 9, on the first Wednesday of each month, Modus, together with sponsors mfg Solicitors and Ravenmeadow Golf Centre will be offering the Worcestershire business community the Nine at Night golf experience.
Teams of business golfers are invited along to Ravenmeadow Golf Centre, on Droitwich Road in Worcester, to play golf at night thanks to special glow in the dark balls and the course highlighted using glow stick markers.
As well as business networking and golf with a difference, Nine at Night also has a fund-raising element, which last year saw the initiative raise £1,500 for the Worcestershire branch of the Wooden Spoon charity.
Several teams have already signed up including groups from Firmingers, mfg Solicitors, hotelshopUK and Modus Creative.
Guy Marson, a director at Modus Creative, said: “We will be playing this as a Texas Scramble to make the event more sociable and open to all standards of golfer.
“Last year, Nine at Night proved really popular and was great fun as well as supporting Wooden Spoon.”
To sign up as a Nine at Night team and for more information, contact Marson on 01905-731529 or call James Leaver at Ravenmeadow on 01905-757525.
