WORCESTER wing Miles Benjamin ran in a hat-trick as England Saxons scored 13 tries in a crushing 87-8 victory over Eddie O’Sullivan’s United States side.
Stuart Lancaster’s Saxons outfit, which also featured Warriors duo Matt Mullan and Graham Kitchener, could hardly have made a more convincing start to the defence of their Churchill Cup title as they turned on the style at Franklin’s Gardens.
Loosehead Mullan played a big role in the Saxons pack demolishing their opposing eight, while Leicester Tigers-bound lock Kitchener climbed off the replacements bench to grab one of the tries.
