DAMIEN Wright is hoping to make his Worcestershire return on Thursday when the County head to Yorkshire in the Friends Life t20.
The Australian all-rounder limped out of last week’s LV= County Championship Divi-sion One win over Notting-hamshire with a calf injury.
Results from the scan revealed the 35-year-old had only bruised his left calf and it is hoped that he will be able to feature at Headingley.
The Royals, however, were left frustrated yesterday after their North Group match against Durham Dynamos was rained off.
Worcestershire, who lost their opening match at Lan-cashire on Friday night by eight runs, had hoped that Bangladesh all-rounder Sha-kib Al Hasan would be able to make his return.
The 24-year-old arrived in the country over the weekend to play in the Twenty20 tournament following his successful stint at New Road last summer.
