THE latest Lakes open darts knock-out took place with a strong field competing for the prize money at the Ambleside-based pub.
In the final, last month’s runner-up, Dean Harris, from Redditch, went one stage futher, defeating Evesham’s Adam Huckvale 5-3 in a competitive match.
Harris hit 14 100-plus scores, including three 140s and a 110 finish. In reply, Huckvale hit 12 100-plus scores, including four 140s, a 180 and a 117 finish.
In the earlier semi-finals, Harris beat Ledbury’s Graham Jenkins 4-1, while Huckvale got the better of Worcester’s David Broome 4-0.
