MARTIN Stephens has returned for his third spell as manager of Archdales 73.
The former Malvern boss takes over at the Midland Combination Division One club following the resignation of Graham Abercrombie.
Stephens’ arrival was announced at the club’s annual general meeting and came after several candidates had been interviewed for the post.
Along with Stephens, Jason Beck and Jon Norris will join the club and work closely with the new manager.
The meeting also saw the appointment of Colin Beck as the new chairman, filling the position left by Mark Wilkes.
A statement said: “Archdales 73 would like to thank Mark for everything he has done in the past eight years behind the scenes at the club.”
Meanwhile, the club will be holding an open day at their Claines Lane base on Saturday, June 25, where an Archdales select side will take on a team made up of Worcester referees.
Kick-off is at 1.30pm.
