ASPIRING racer Melissa Bond has won the experience of a lifetime with Motorpoint to be a grid girl at Thruxton this weekend.
In the past, the 23-year-old from Pershore has ridden pillion with World Superbike champion James Toseland at a track day.
The speedster will be in the thick of the action as a grid girl at the British Superbike Championship.
Bond has been racing bikes since the age of 16 and is saving up to enter competitive racing.
She saw the competition to be a grid girl for the Motorpoint team through their Facebook page and applied immediately.
Bond said: “I love bike racing and one day I hope to emulate my heros such as James. What he can do on a bike is amazing. I have only been a grid girl once before a number of years ago.”
