WORCESTERSHIRE have fallen to their sixth consecutive LV= County Championship Division One defeat to Durham.

The New Road side lasted just under an hour today with Gareth Andrew and Ben Scott both going on to reach their half centuries but it was not enough to prevent the visitors sealing an innings and 25 run victory.

Andrew was the first to fall as he pulled Steve Borthwick to Ben Stokes at deep mid-wicket the ball after reaching his 50.

Damien Wright fell the next delivery as he chipped the ball straight back to the Durham spinner.

Richard Jones also cam and went quickly as he was run out by Stokes going to a needless second run, while Scott, who once again showed his worth with the bat, was the last man to fall as Steve Harmison finds the edge to dismiss the on-loan wicketkeeper for 73.

With Adrian Shankar not batting due to the injury Worcestershire were all out for 345.
