MANAGER Steve Burr says he won’t be rushed into recruiting to his Kidderminster Harriers squad over the summer.
Although the season is barely over, attention at Aggborough has already switched to the 2011/12 Blue Square Bet Premier campaign.
Eleven players are so far signed up but Burr is prepared to bide his time before adding to the numbers.
He is also keen to make sure Harriers live within their means following a season that saw them go to the brink of administration.
The Kidderminster boss said: “It’s a fairly busy time but there is a long, long way to go yet and we won’t be rushing into anything, we don’t need to.
“I’m speaking to a number of targets but if we aren’t able to get them on the terms that are right for the club then we will move on and won’t be losing any sleep over it.”
He added: “What has been pleasing for me is that a number of the lads from the season just gone are staying with us and that’s down to the fact that they all came in and worked hard to prove themselves.”
