SIXWAYS will be filled to the rafters with a full house when Worcester Warriors aim to secure their Premiership promotion next Wednesday.
The Championship final second leg with Cornish Pirates has been confirmed as a complete sell-out at Worcester’s 12,024-capacity stadium.
Warriors hold a 21-12 advantage after winning the first tie in Penzance with first-half tries from Miles Benjamin and Andy Goode, who also added three penalties and a conversion.
The last Sixways full house was against Gloucester at the end of last season when the hosts were relegated from the Premiership.
Charlie Little, general manager at Warriors, said: “We are absolutely delighted that we will have a full house for this massive fixture as we aim to secure a return to the top-flight.
“The interest in the final has been simply phenomenal over the last week-and-a-half and we now look forward to a special night under the floodlights at Sixways.
“Our supporters really played their part by creating a truly special and memorable atmosphere in the semi-final with Bedford Blues.
“I’m sure they will now turn up the volume once again and look to roar the Warriors to success.”
