TERRY Jenkins’ hopes of reaching the 888.com Premier League play-offs were ended with an 8-3 defeat to Adrian Lewis.
The Bull needed to beat both Lewis and James Wade next Thursday to stand a chance but fell at the first hurdle in Bournemouth.
World champion Lewis showed his quality by winning six straight legs to come from 3-2 down to streak to victory.
The opening four legs went with throw before Ledbury’s Jenkins moved ahead with a 14-darter.
Lewis, though, surged 6-3 clear before winning the 10th and securing victory on double 14.
