CASH-strapped Kidderminster Harriers have signed Hereford United striker Sean Canham on loan for a month.

The former Notts County forward, who signed a two-year deal at Hereford in July, arrives at Harriers following a week which almost saw the Blue Square Bet Premier side fall into a Company Voluntary Agreement.

But with most of the £155,000 funding needed for the rest of the season secured and striker Lee Morris in-jured, Burr has been allowed to strengthen his squad as Harriers look to continue their hunt for the play-offs.

Canham, 26, has struggled to break into the League Two strugglers side this term and was wanted by Aggborough boss Steve Burr in the summer before joining Bulls.

Hereford chairman chairman David Keyte said: “Hopefully we have helped Kidderminster out a little in assisting with this deal.”

Canham, who began his career at Exeter City, will be in today’s squad to face Altrincham at Aggborough.
