KIDDERMINSTER Harriers have secured the funding to carry on until the end of the season.
Aggborough director Keith Chandler revealed that almost all of the £155,000 required for the Blue Square Bet Premier play-off hopefuls to continue until the end of the campaign is in place.
“We are only marginally short,” he said. “But we have staved off the Company Voluntary Agreement and there is time for us to get the rest.
“However, a review of the business is desperately needed because vice-chairman Wayne Allen and I cannot go through this again.”
Meanwhile, the Independent Supporters’ Trust (KHIST) are calling for fans to fill Aggborough on Saturday.
KHIST, who raised more than £15,000 in 24 hours for their club, are looking to secure Harriers’ future beyond the current campaign while potential new investors complete due diligence at Aggborough.
With a capacity of 6,250, KHIST board member Karl Davies believes a full house for the league meeting with Altrincham would raise around £100,000.
He said: “We can’t let this happen again and that is why we are still going ahead with ‘Operation Full House’.
“Anyone who went to Wembley in 2007 is urged to come back. Anyone who can should come on Saturday.”
