WORCESTER Wolves slip-ped to a second defeat of the weekend, 78-91 at Glasgow Rocks, further denting their hopes of making the British League end-of-season play-offs.

The game began badly for Wolves with Glasgow forward Mike Copeland pouring in 13 points as Rocks took a 28-15 first quarter lead.

Worcester fought back with consecutive long-range baskets from point guard Mike Creppy, but Glasgow ended the first-half on a 14-3 run to lead 54-41.

Rocks kept their lead throughout the third quarter, carrying a 74-61 advantage into the final period.

Wolves worked hard to get back to 74-82 with five minutes remaining in the game, but could only score a further four points after that.
