KIDDERMINSTER Harriers’ Independent Supporters Trust (KHIST) are warning that the club need £155,000 by tomorrow lunchtime or face falling into a Company Voluntary Agreement (CVA).
The club’s supporters’ trust spelt out the bleak future facing the Aggborough outfit in a statement this morning after meeting with Harriers’ directors over the weekend.
KHIST statement said that Harriers require £155,000 by tomorrow lunchtime or face being forced into a CVA or worse.
They also said that players and staff would be paid a proportion of their wages today, while the winding up petition from HM Revenue and Customs on February 23 is for £16,000.
The supporters trust also revealed that there is a further £52,000 owed to small creditors.
KHIST raised £2,300 at Saturday’s 1-0 victory over Bath City and are appealing for fans to turn up for Saturday’s Blue Square Bet Premier home clash with Altrincham.
To join KHIST it costs £1 for adults, 50p for under 16s and £30 for corporate membership. For more details visit khist.org.uk
