Elvins: Solid performance but took a knock and was hobbling badly after the game. 8
Clarke: Seldom put a foot wrong against his former team and his timing was impeccable as usual. 9
Hurren: Enjoyed a strong debut with some no-nonsense tackling to give freedom to those around him. 8
O’Connor: Excellent display. Popped up everywhere, getting forward and helping out at the back. 9
Glover: Scored one goal and created another as he tormented Boston for the second time this season. 8
Danks: Full of running and kept his calm in the face of some provocation from the visitors. 7

Subs: McGregor (for Birley 75), Mace (for Danks 81), T Evans (for Glover 87). Not used: K Evans, Emery.
Man of the match: Kevin O’Connor: Involved in just about everything City did and covered every inch of the pitch.
