EVESHAM United chalked up their biggest win since joining the Southern League, continuing a run that has seen them bag 20 points from nine games.

David Accam led the way in the Zamaretto League Premier Division clash with a fine hat-trick for Paul West’s side, who could even afford a second-half penalty miss.

Evesham began the rout on 18 minutes. Marcus Palmer was on hand to fire home after Yeltz keeper Simon Flower had fumbled Jamie Hyde’s cross.

It was 2-0 on the half-hour as Emmanuel Ibhadon diverted Accam’s shot into his own net.

Isaac Shaze was next on the scoresheet with a crisp finish past Flower before Accam and Shaze again gave Evesham a five-goal lead at the break.

It took just two minutes for Accam to race through a flat-footed Halesowen defence to make it 6-0 at the start of the second-half.

Five minutes later, Hyde’s cross fell to Accam and he netted number seven with a thunderous volley.

On the hour, Palmer was fouled in the area by Ibhadon but the Evesham frontman’s spot-kick was pushed away by Flower.

Sam Mensah rounded off the scoring with nine minutes left.
