THE Sky Sports cameras will only visit New Road once this season after announcing their televised games for the coming campaign.
In the previous two years, the satellite broadcaster has visited Worcestershire’s picturesque headquarters seven times, however, they will only be in attendance for the Friends Provident t20 home clash with Nottinghamshire Outlaws on Tuesday, July 5.
“We have been lucky in recent years that Sky have come to New Road on a number of occasions,” chief executive David Leatherdale said.
“I don’t know why they are only here once but I think that it goes on a cycle.”
Including the Notts match, the County will be on TV five times with their trips to Kent (May 1), Middlesex (May 17) and Derbyshire (June 15 and August 4) shown live.
Worcestershire may receive another New Road visit from Sky as several dates have still to be confirmed.
