PERSHORE boosted their top-two push in ENER-G Men’s West Midlands Division Two with a 2-1 hockey win at Barlaston.
The hosts went down to 10 men due to injury and the visitors took advantage with goals from Steve Ridsdale and Richard Drew before a late consolation.
Evesham lost 4-1 at home to Finchfield in the Premier Division with Matt Baumber scoring, while Droitwich drew 2-2 at Leamington in Division One.
Simon Baines and Luke Hine netted.
