BARROW was a difficult place to go and Nuneaton are one of the best teams in the league.
It was a great result at Barrow and four points from the two games is a magnificent effort from the players.
Two-nil down after 20 minutes on Monday we were struggling, Nuneaton were well on top but they dug in and showed character and desire to win the game.
That spirit is going to take us a long way this season. Once again, credit to the players - 2-0 and 3-2 down with a bad decision which went against us. I couldn't be more delighted with four points.
To be without six first choice players, then four points is probably more than I really could have expected. Even with everyone fit, four points would be a good return.
We had great support on Monday and on Saturday. The fans seem to be right behind the team and that will help as well through the season.
It was a great atmosphere on Monday night and that helped us get back in the game no doubt. We are going to need that so credit to them as well and hopefully we can have them same on Saturday.
Adam Webster is still on crutches. He can't put any weight on his foot. I knew it was a serious one when he did it but it's been 10 days now and he's still on crutches. I am hoping it's not bad news but I fear the worse with that.
He still hasn't had a scan, the swelling is still that bad so we've got to wait and see. If it is really bad it's going to be into the new year and maybe not until right at the end of the season.
Mark Danks is starting to do a little bit of light training and if he keeps that going he might only be two or three weeks away.
We've got to tread carefully with Justin Thompson and work him back into it slowly.
But he came on in both games and did a great job for us, got his head onto a number of things and that shows the spirit, he's not right but he'll come on and work and give it a go for us.
I thought Sam Wedgbury did a great job for us on Monday and showed what a good lad he is. He plays for a Premiership club and couldn't wait to get back to play for us and out of position as well.
It was good to see Troy Wood get on the score sheet so both the strikers have scored and we want to build on the good start.
Tom Warmer (knee) is struggling and Jay Sztybel couldn't walk on Sunday after taking a knock aganist Barrow but he's improving and he should be ok for Moor Green at the weekend.
Moor Green are a strong side. They have lost Gary McPhee to Nuneaton but I expect them to be challenging.
