Strong interceptions were key to Wildcats' early lead in their division four match with Smart Cut Hawcs. The second quarter saw a spirited fightback from the latter to take a 14-12 half-time advantage.
But Wildcats' team spirit prevailed as they won by two points. Beth Sheppard was their player-of-the-match.
Accurate shooting from Evesham Reds' Becky Giles was vital in her team's narrow 42-36 victory over premier division Malvern Ladies who hit back through Sally Jakeman.
The pace and set-plays of Malvern Juniors proved too much for Starlight in division five as they triumphed 57-16.
Carla Johnson, of Juniors, and Sharon Guiver, of Starlight, earned the player-of-the-match votes.
