STOURPORT Swifts kick-off their pre-season friendlies when they host Unibond League Premier Division side Hednesford Town tomorrow (3pm).
Swifts hope to have two new players on board before the Southern League Midland Division campaign starts -- but one is a familar face.
Forward Rory May, who left mid-way through last season to join Redditch United, is keen on a return.
And former Rushall Olympic midfielder Leon Allen is also in talks with Roy Rencher.
The Swifts boss said: "It looks as though Rory wants to come back from Redditch and I think it's about 80 per cent sure that we'll get him.
"He's not completely happy with what we're offering him but the budget's what it is and we can't change that.
"Leon is training with us and we're still talking to him. He went from Rushall to Hednesford but he didn't like it there so we've got a chance of signing him."
Rencher did well to keep cash-strapped Swifts up last season and he is now hoping for a top-half finish.
