HEREFORD United will give another run-out to their long list of trialists as they attempt to retain the Herefordshire FA Senior Cup tonight (7.45).
The Bulls again face city neighbours Westfields in a repeat of last year's final which they won 3-0 with goals from Tamika Mkandawire, Jon Brady and Danny Carey-Bertram.
United, who have since released Brady and Carey-Bertram, will be clear favourites to secure victory over their Midland Alliance opponents in a battle for local pride at Edgar Street.
Boss Graham Turner was happy enough with Saturday's 2-2 draw with a Birmingham City XI when his side hit back from two goals down.
He said: "The movement and passing at times was quite good.
"Stuart (Fleetwood) in particular looked quite sharp and could have scored, but it was a good work-out.
"You put out a few trialists and you always leave yourself open to a lack of concentration and your organisation may be not quite right. But that's one of the penalties of mixing the side up at this stage.
"Until you get that picture of who's going to come in out of the trialists and who's going to be in the starting line-up that's going to happen."
Westfields drew 3-3 at Welsh League division one outfit Gower on Saturday in boiling temperatures with 17-year-old former Hereford youth teamer Ashley Day impressing in midfield.
Matt Beale, Daniel Moon and Alex Hunt scored the goals with Gower equalising from a late scramble, converted by hat-trick hero Duncan Roberts.
