MALVERN head to Kenilworth in National Three Midlands tomorrow (2.15pm) looking to put their Hereford heartache behind them.

The Spring Lane side threw away a second-half advantage to draw 25-25 with their local rivals and director of rugby Dave Robins felt it was an opportunity missed.

He now has to rally his troops for tomorrow’s match but has seven regulars missing through a mixture of injury and unavailability.

Robins said: “It was without doubt the most disappointing result of the season to date.

“To be 25-13 up with eight minutes to go and draw 25-25 was really a disaster to say the least and it certainly put a dent in our current plans. The lads were gutted. I can’t help feeling we have squandered two points, but we have got to pick oursleves up and get on with it.”
