FORMER Hereford United striker Danny Carey-Bertram is Worcester City’s new loan capture.
City boss Richard Dryden revealed he had secured a forward in time for tomorrow’s Blue Square South trip to Welling (3pm).
Carey-Bertram, 25, scored 20 goals for Hereford in their Conference days before leaving for Cambridge United, Forest Green Rovers, Bath City and most recently AFC Telford.
But the former England semi-pro international has struggled to find the net this season after being Telford’s top-scorer in 2008/09 and has joined City for a month.
Dryden moved to bring in a loan striker after temporary addition Marvin Brown headed back to Weston-super-Mare.
Meanwhile, City have been drawn at home to Kidderminster Harriers in the Worcestershire FA Senior Cup semi-finals with the game due to be played on or before Wednesday, February 10.
Worcester left-back Shabir Khan made his Pakistan debut in a 1-0 defeat to Sri Lanka in the SAFF Cup in Bangladesh.
