A JUNIOR football team have been cleared of causing a match to be abandoned earlier this season.
The Mercian Festival Junior League fixture between Nunnery Wood Colts Wolves Under 15s and Alcester Town was stopped on September 27 because of alleged crowd trouble.
Colts were later charged with failing to control their spectators, causing the match to be abandoned.
However, the Worcestershire Football Association dismissed the charge after being presented with evidence at a hearing.
The league will now decide whether to replay the game.
