MIKE Ruddock is searching for a prop to sign on a short-term basis after his Worcester Warriors squad was hit by more front- row problems.
Both loosehead Callum Black and tighthead Tevita Taumoepeau limped out of Friday’s 12-12 draw with Saracens, leaving the Sixways director of rugby short of options.
Black (calf muscle tear) will definitely miss Saturday’s trip to London Irish, while Taumopeau, who also has a virus, faces a race against time.
Ruddock said: “It is difficult to get people in on a short-term basis, but I have made a few phone calls to see if there are any options open to me.
“Callum is definitely out, but I still have Adam Black, Olivier Sourgens and Jack Gilding. Tevita is the key. If he is able to play, we should be OK.”
Scrum-half Ryan Powell has also been ruled out with a rib injury.
