FLY-HALF Matthew Jones is set to make his long-awaited comeback when Worcester Warriors ‘A’ travel to Cross Keys RFC to face Newport Gwent Dragons ‘A’ in a friendly tomorrow night (7.30).
Jones has been out of action since injuring his foot against local rivals Gloucester in April but is named on the replacements’ bench for the trip to Wales.
Warriors send a side full of academy talent with Greg King, Michael Penn, Joe Carlisle and Ollie Frost among the backs, who have tasted senior experience this season.
Dynamic flanker David Askew will captain the team and joins the likes of Matt Cox and Will Bowley in the pack.
