BROMSGROVE Rovers will be looking to inflict more misery on Beaconsfield SYCOB when the sides meet at the Victoria Ground in Zamaretto League Division One Midlands on Saturday (3pm).

The Buckinghamshire outfit were demolished 6-0 by Stourport Swifts on their home patch last time out and had their previous match against Bedworth United abandoned due to fog.

Rovers lost 3-2 at Slough Town, Beaconsfield’s landlords, on Tuesday after drawing 1-1 at home to Biggleswade Town.

However, they do have home advantage this weekend and manager John Snape expects them to improve on last Saturday’s showing.

He said: “We picked up some silly bookings and for their goal, had three chances to clear the ball so I felt it was probably two points lost rather than one gained.”

Victory would also go some way to lifting the spirits of the home faithful as they continue to be left in the dark over the club’s future.

Rovers remain in administration and there has been no word from potential purchaser Mike Ward.
