WORCESTER Women’s first fell to their second defeat in Midlands Premier Division, going down 3-2 at Harborne.
The city side took the lead against the run of play when captain Rachel Creese converted a short corner.
However, Worcester found themselves 3-1 down in the second-half before Hattie Lloyd pulled a goal back five minutes from time.
The seconds cruised to a 4-0 victory over Redditch in Worcestershire Division One Libby Hayes put Worcester into the lead following some good work from Lucy Merrett and she added a second shortly after. Hayes completed her hat-trick before the break. Redditch improved in the second-half but could not find a way past the Worcester defence of Alice Dukes, Charlotte Bowyer, Donna Holland and player-of-the-match Hannah Beasley-Suffolk.
The win was sealed when Merrett added a fourth.
Player-of-the-match Erin Clarke struck four goals as Worcester women’s thirds romped to a 7-1 victory at Droitwich thirds in Division Three.
Ellen Farhey hit a brace and Emma Preece added the other.
Worcester Girls’ under 18s needed penalty strokes to see off their counterparts from Cheltenham after drawing 1-1.
The visitors took the lead on 19 minutes before Sade Gerald equalised.
In the penalty shoot-out, Issy Davies made three saves as Worcester claimed a 3-2 victory.
Worcester Men’s fourths crashed to a 7-0 defeat to Edgbaston fifths in the Central Premier Division.
The city side were 4-0 down at the break before Edgbaston went on to complete the rout.
The sixths picked up a comfortable 4-1 success over Old Halesonians in South West Division One. Old Hales took the lead before Shipley equalised and then Haddock, Simon Griffiths and Jon Griffith struck to seal victory.
Worcester Badgers Pippins picked up a 2-0 win over Bournville after a goalless first-half.
Debutant Cecily Nichols in Worcester’s goal kept a clean sheet, while Edward Brown and Zach Dunn struck after the interval.
Daniel Ferrier netted a hat-trick as the Badgers Potters saw off Droitwich 4-2.
Despite the visitors taking the lead, Worcester remained calm, with Dan Rushton netting the other.
