STOURPORT Swifts will opt for experience over youth when they host Chesham United in Zamaretto League Division One Midlands tonight (7.45).
Neil Hunt’s side won 6-0 at Beaconsfield SYCOB on Saturday with goals from Dene Whittal-Williams, Richard Tomkins, Julian Triana, Dan Polan, Chris Mortlock and Mark Benbow.
However, Swifts were without midfielders Jamie Price, Will Gayton and defender Nathan Jukes through work commitments.
All three are expected to return for the Walshes Meadow clash against third-placed Chesham, who won 3-0 at home to Woodford United at the weekend.
Manager Hunt said: “It was a good result on Saturday.
“We have been threatening to do that all season. We played Marlow the other week and created the same number of chances but only scored two.
“We looked hungry and it was a good result. The youngsters did very well but we are playing a team who are third in the league tomorrow so I will probably change a couple of things.”
Bromsgrove Rovers make the long trip to Slough Town looking to stretch their unbeaten run to four matches (7.45).
They are still in administration but have put that to one side to draw their last two matches, including 1-1 at home to Biggleswade Town at the weekend.
Slough have lost their last two games without scoring but still sit sixth in the table.
Meanwhile, Malvern Town go in search of their first Midland Alliance away win of the season at Coventry Sphinx (7.45).
Chris Palmer’s side make the trip in good spirits after thrashing basement boys Cradley Town 5-1 on Saturday.
