NIKKI Day has made history by becoming the first woman to achieve the perfect game at a Worcester ten-pin bowling club.
The 22-year-old hit 12 strikes in a row to record a score of 300 in a Classics League match at Worcester Bowl in Bromyard Road, St John’s.
Day competes in the league every Tuesday and became the first woman to achieve the feat since the centre opened 20 years ago.
She has been playing the sport since she was seven and was originally coached by dad Chris but is now under the wing of national competitor Neil Heafield.
Day lives in Halesowen but makes the 50-mile round trip to Worcester every week to compete for the Lincs Effect in the league.
