MALVERN Town manager Chris Palmer has praised his young guns ahead of Saturday’s Aspire Midland Alliance visit to Barwell (3pm).
Palmer’s side staged a remarkable recovery to draw 3-3 at Friar Lane and Epworth last weekend.
He believes youth teamers, like Craig Carter, Joe Kings, Mason Mansfield and Ryan Robbins, signal a bright future for the club.
Palmer said: “We finished the game with four of the youth team on the pitch and they are good players.”
Former Worcester City midfielder Craig Brown has signed for Malvern.
Bryan Craven starts a three-match ban at the weekend and Alex Taffe (broken hand) is injured but fellow forward Stuart Gates (foot) returns.
