ALEX Grove will find out on Monday if he has made the grade at international level when Scotland coach Andy Robinson announces his squad to face Fiji.
The young Warriors centre has spent the week at a training camp at St Andrews with Robinson’s 32-man group and is hoping to be named in the side for Scotland’s opening autumn international.
He said: “I’ve enjoyed every second of being involved. It’s my first involvement with the senior squad and it was a lot more game-specific.
“The first autumn international is closing in now and it was the first time we looked at combinations and partnerships. It’s still very open in terms of selection and I am hoping that I can feature at some point over the series.”
Robinson came to Sixways to watch Grove against Harlequins and the former academy star hopes to have made an impression.
Grove added: “When I look back, the last 12 months have flown by. Sometimes you get lucky with opportunities and I feel I have been lucky with those that have come around for Worcester and now Scotland.
“What I have done, is tried to take those opportunities and now I have just got to perform if I get a chance this autumn.”
