DANNY Scheppel scored a 33rd-minute winner as Bromsgrove Rovers won 2-1 at Leighton Town in Zamaretto League Division One Midlands.
Luke Finlay’s header after 25 minutes opened Rovers’ account as they clawed back three vital points from the 10 they lost for going into administration. The hosts did score an injury-time consolation through Ashton Goss.
Stourport Swifts suffered a 3-1 home win at the hands of Atherstone Town at Walshes Meadow. The hosts were 3-0 down before centre-half Andy Jones grabbed a goal to salvage some pride for the Swifts in the 85th minute.
