EVESHAM United face their third cup replay of the season after this stalemate at Chestnut Avenue in the FA Trophy second qualifying round.
Northwood, of Ryman League Division One North, will now visit St George’s Lane on Tuesday night with £3,000 up for grabs for the winners.
Neither side did enough to cement a place in the next round and a draw always looked the final outcome.
Northwood started confidently, Gary Burrell steering his shot wide during the opening exchanges. Evesham took time to settle, before Steve Luckett’s header was safely gathered by home keeper Mitch Swain.
The Evesham defender then headed wide after good work by Jermaine Clarke. Aro Cato fluffed the best chance of the half, shooting well over after Nathan Vaughan’s poor clearance had fell kindly for the Northwood striker.
Defences remained on top in the second-half. Northwood’s Eugene Ofori and Brad Hewitt both went close while Clarke was denied by a goal-line clearance.
Evesham defended stoutly in the closing stages to earn a second bite of the cherry.
