Team Poland kept their St John’s Sunday title hopes alive with a 3-2 victory over leaders ETC Galacticos, while Night Shift claimed a 3-0 success over Melissa’s Dream. Matt Terry starred for lowly Super SPX in a comfortable 4-1 win against The Real Galacticos.
There was no let-up in the form of champions Slaters FC in the Elgar Monday league, as they raced to a 10-1 mauling of IMN.
The Carlton Palmers will join the title-winners at the coveted Leisure Leagues national tournament, as they finished runners-up following an 8-3 dismissal of Elgar All Stars.
