A WORCESTER constable won gold and silver medals at the Police Service UK National Judo Championships.
PC Duncan Jones claimed gold in the under 100kgs category and silver in the veteran under 100kgs category.
He is now set to represent West Mercia Police and Britain at the European Championships in Paris in 2011.
Black belt PC Jones, a response officer at Worcester, said: “It was a very tough competition with competitors from 23 forces across Britain but the atmosphere was so friendly thanks to North Wales Police who hosted the event.”
