ALEX Strutt will look to end 2009 with style when he steps back into the ring next month.

The Ombersley super-middleweight is set to appear at The Venue in Dudley on November 28.

With an opponent yet to be named to face the unbeaten 27-year-old, Strutt is looking to build up some momentum after a stagnant start to his professional career.

His first-round stoppage of Davey Jones last month was Strutt’s first fight in 10 months and he is already looking to having a busy 2010.

“It’s great that I have got a date,” said Strutt, who has won three and drawn one of his four professional bouts since September 2007.

“I have been in the gym for a while since my last fight and I’m ready to begin sparring. With the date of the fight being at the end of November it is probably going to be the last one of the year but that does not mean I’m going to stop training.

“I’m going to keep myself in shape. I want to be busy and maybe work towards a Midlands Area title next year.

“But first my concentration is on the fight at the end of November — that is what matters to me at the moment.”

Tickets for the six-fight bill are priced at £50 and £30.
