UNBEATEN Mercian Festival Junior League leaders Warndon Villages Cobras Under Nines saw off Droitwich Spa Panthers 1-0 in a good Division One battle.
Cobras had to work hard defensively but broke the deadlock mid-way through the first-half.
UNDER 10s: Player-of-the-match Sam Middleton came off the bench to score a hat-trick in Westbury Celtic Juniors’ 9-1 success at Worcester Raiders in Division Two.
Will Russell scored early on after a shot hit the post from Josh Sinclair who then added two more goals with a Raiders consolation making it 3-1 at the break.
In a heated second-half, Middleton netted a treble alongside efforts from Josh Hood, Sinclair’s hat-trick clincher and Russell.
UNDER 11s: A brace from Lewis Kirkpatrick helped fire Warndon Villages Tigers to a resounding 5-1 victory over Westbury Celtic Youth in Division One.
Callum Daniels and player-of-the-match Kirkpatrick (2) put Tigers in control at the interval although Youth hit back with a header.
Mark Wilson hit the bar with a penalty but Jack Davies and Cameron Pinches wrapped up the win for the Worcester side.
UNDER 12s: Leigh and Bransford Badgers United beat their Celtic counterparts 3-0 in the first fixture between the two club sides.
Ewan Mullaney broke the deadlock in the Division Two clash by running onto a long ball and finishing his fourth goal in as many games with confidence.
Dan Cox netted the second for United just before half-time and added another after the break with Celtic keeper Sebastian Snowdon and his defence keeping the scoreline down.
UNDER 13s: Clinical Luke Obrey notched five goals as Northside Tigers romped home 12-0 at Kempsey Colts in Division Two.
Brandon Beasant added to his fine tally with four more alongside one apiece from Macauley Johnson, Charlie McKee and John Lee.
The goal of the game came from a superb flowing move as man-of-the-match Ross Joyner and Jordan Wise combined with the latter’s pin-point cross volleyed home by Obrey.
UNDER 15s: Alex Lewis hit his third hat-trick of the season as Droitwich Spa Dons continued their impressive start to the season with an 11-3 beating of Worcester Youth.
The visitors dominated the first-half and led 7-0 at the break through Alex Lewis (3), Nick Humphries (2), Mitch Oakes and Jack Fellows.
Youth showed great character in the second period and pulled three goals back but Harrison Prew (2), Harry Harris and Sam Levine netted for Dons.
