ECHELON-Spiuk rider Steve Dring gained his ninth win of the season at the Elite Road Race Series opener in Ottershaw, Surrey.
The event was over 15 laps of a four-mile circuit and three riders, including Dring, broke away with four laps left.
They established a good lead on the field with Dring taking the final sprint on the uphill finish. Added to his sixth spot at Redhill, he has enough points to regain an elite road racing licence.
Dan Bill continued his good form in the West Midlands Cyclo Cross League, finishing seventh in the latest round at Solihull.
