BADMINTON star Gail Emms will be among the guests when Droitwich Spa High School plays host to the Commonwealth Games baton.
Emms, who won a gold medal in the mixed doubles at the 2006 Games in Melbourne, is visiting the school on Monday, November 2.
The Queen’s Baton is touring every Commonwealth country ahead of next year’s Games in New Delhi, India, and will be at the school for a day.
It is due to arrive at around 9am and leave at 3.15pm before travelling to the heritage centre in the town centre by Bellboat on the canal and being presented to the mayor, councillor Maureen Lawley.
