MALVERN’S upturn in fortunes will be given a stern test tomorrow when they visit Peterborough in National Three Midlands (3pm), according to director of rugby Dave Robins.
The Spring Lane side make the trip to the Fens after beating Newport (Salop) 22-15 and scooping a maximum five points after scoring four tries. Malvern currently lie two places and just one point behind tomorrow’s opponents, but Robins says Peterborough are a formidable force at home.
He said: “Peterborough’s home ground is a bit of a fortress, but we will be determined to do well.
“When we get our players back from injury over the next couple of weeks we will be firing on all cylinders.”
All supporters will be welcome, either on the team bus or by car, and directions can be found on the Peterborough website prufc.com/dir ections.asp.
