PERSHORE continued their good start in BodyKraft West Midlands Division Two with a fine 6-1 victory over Oswestry.
Pershore began the first-half strongly with Toby Whiting almost creating himself a chance from the game’s first push-back.
The first goal saw Pershore’s stand-in right-back Russell Scudamore find skipper Gareth Rushton unchallenged to smash home.
The second goal followed shortly after from a short-corner as Whiting reversed the ball back to Rushton, and he deflected the ball home.
Whiting added the third after slipping past two players, before Rushton completed his hat-trick with the fourth.
Rob Handley netted the fifth before the visitors pulled a goal back only for Whiting to restore the five-goal lead through a penalty flick.
