WORCESTER City have completed the signing of former Aldershot striker Rob Elvins.
The 22-year-old, part of the Shots’ Conference promotion-winning team in 2008, has agreed a one-year deal at St George’s Lane.
Elvins, who began his career at West Brom, has been on trial at Kidderminster Harriers and the 6ft 2ins player has featured in their pre-season games to date.
Worcester manager Richard Dryden said: “He’s a big, strong centre-forward who will work really hard and put himself about.
“Rob also ended up playing centre-half at the end of last season for Aldershot as well so it’s another string to his bow. It’s another physical presence which we probably lacked a lot last season.”
