STOURPORT Swifts manager Neil Hunt wants his side to be judged after the next six matches.
The Walshes Meadow outfit face teams directly above and below them in the following few weeks and that is a spell that will shape their British Gas Business Division One Midlands campaign.
On Saturday, they entertain fellow strugglers Rothwell Town (3pm), a side who sit directly above them in the league but have the third worst defence in the table.
Despite Swifts knowing that four wins out of the next six games will go a long way to shaping the second half of their campaign, Hunt’s side are still goal-shy.
“We have been creating the chances and we need to start taking them now,” Hunt said.
“We have an important six games coming up and that’s when we should be judged.
“Mark Owen has come in from Evesham and has added some more professionalism. He has done everything but score.
“If we can get four wins from the next six games, then we should be up around the mid-table which will be about right.”
The Bones have been shaky in their last six matches, having lost 5-0, 6-0 and 7-0 in that spell, while Swifts came from behind at Atherstone Town to hold the high-fliers to a draw.
