STUDENTS at Worcester Sixth Form College have again been successful in the West Mercia Cross Country League.
Competing in four races at Callow End, Hereford Cathedral School, Worcester Sixth Form College and Malvern College, the boys’ and girls’ teams finished second overall.
In the individual results, Samantha Hodson gained the girls’ silver medal.
Patrick Crummy was third overall boy to gain the bronze award.
Both are in their first year at the Spetchley Road college and are members of their successful athletics academy.
The students practice on Nunnery Wood athletics track and follow a regime that includes weights and circuit training sessions.
Both will now compete in the forthcoming West Midlands British Colleges Cross Country competition and the Hereford and Worcester County Championships.
