HANNAH Goss bagged a hat-trick for Stourport Women’s Seconds in a convincing 6-0 victory over King’s Heath in Worcestershire Hockey League Division One.
Despite moving the ball around well in the first-half, Stourport could not put the ball into the back of the net.
They had to wait until the 15th minute before they took the lead through Caroline Sidell.
They went further ahead in the 25th minute when Liz Cooke added her name to the scoresheet.
Stourport worked harder at their game in the second-half but were frustrated by battling Birmingham opponents.
Two goals from player-of-the-match Goss ensured Stourport powered into a commanding lead.
Lucy Mattocks grabbed a fifth goal before Goss completed her hat-trick.
The fourths lost an entertaining game 4-2 to the thirds with youngster Georgi Hingley bagging four goals in the Division Two clash.
The fourths matched their hosts and Dani Turley was only foiled an opener by keeper Cory Devonport’s excellent save.
The thirds, though, were not so unlucky when Hingley latched onto a through-ball to slot home.
Player-of-the-match Hingley quickly added another but Turley pulled a goal back before the break from Kate Bailey’s pass.
The fourths then broke forward in the second period to level through Bailey.
But Hingley regained the lead for the thirds, turning in Teresa Moss’ pass, and then gave the scoreline a rather flattering look.
The fourths’ player-of-the-match was Renata Kirszniok.
