BROMSGROVE Rovers came from behind to beat Woodford United in British Gas Business Division One Midlands.
Kevin Banner’s first goal of his second spell at the club and a Barry Woolley strike gave Rod Brown’s men their fourth straight win in all competitions.
But the Greens had struggled to get to grips with a poor playing surface at Byfield Road and toiled for much of the first-half.
They fell behind when Rich Adams dinked a 25-yard strike into an empty net after picking up Jimmy Dormand’s poor clearance.
Rovers hit back a minute before the break through Banner. The winger made a late run into the box to scramble home after Nathaniel Waite had outmuscled two defenders.
On 57 minutes, Graham Deakin fired a free-kick through a crowd of players and Woolley was on hand to slot home from close range.
