CHRIS Cornes scored 17 minutes from time to earn Stourport Swifts a deserved 1-1 Division One Midlands draw at high-flying Atherstone Town.
The former Worcester City midfielder returned after his one-match ban to deny the hosts chance to close on league leaders Leamington.
Sean Devlin put the Adders ahead 14 minutes into the match but Town were unable to add to find the goal-scoring form that had seen them net 21 times in their previous five games.
The result leaves Swifts fourth-from-bottom in the table but with games in hand on the teams immediately above them.
